have been offering a complete
scaffolding service to everyone
from the construction and civil
engineering industries to the
entertainment industry for the
past 15 years.

The completed project will have 800 homes at Victory Pier, which will include studio apartments, one, two and three bed homes, and a number of penthouses, to cater for a wide range of home ownership aspirations. Phase 1 consists of 604 studios and study bedrooms in two blocks of accommodation designed and constructed for the University of Kent with 12,500sqft of ground floor retail let to Tesco Express, Subway, Domino Pizza amongst others.
With approximately 8000m2 of scaffolding to erect, between the two blocks along with system staircases this was a large job by any standards. From the design stage AGS allowed for flexible and unimpeded use of the working area by using adjustable transoms and dog-bones. This reduced the need for bracing, giving full working access at all levels. The whole job was wrapped in plastic sheet printed with Berkeley First’s Logo. AGS chose to use several system staircases, permitting better access to all floors and loading bays.
